This course is designed to build the English and cross-cultural skills of non-native speakers of English in order to prepare for academic work in English. This is an advanced American culture course and focuses on orienting students to the cultural values of the United States as well as other countries and fostering cross-cultural communication. Enrollment preference is given to international students wishing to
prepare for academic work in English.
